Frequently asked questions

What is an accident replacement vehicle?

When you are involved in a car accident, and you’re not at fault, by law you are entitled for a replacement rental car for the duration of repairs to your vehicle or until it is declared written off. Our job is to provide you with the rental car and to do all the hard work in chasing the at-fault party (or their insurer) for payment.

What do you guys do?

We provide rental cars to people who have been involved in where they are not at fault. We know that being involved in a car accident is a stressful experience and so we strive to provide the best possible service to you including delivery of a rental car right to your doorstep.

Do I have to pay anything?

No. As you are not at fault for the accident we hire a rental car out to you on credit. This means that when you hire one of our cars all you need to do is sign some paperwork that says you will provide us with reasonable assistance when we try to recover the costs of the rental car from the at-fault party (or their insurer). We send the invoice directly to the at-fault party (or their insurer) once your hire is completed.

What if the at-fault party doesn’t pay?

We will never ask you to pay for a rental car if you’re not at fault. It is therefore important that you help us (if required) when we try to recover the costs of the rental car from the at-fault party or their insurer.

What kind of cars do you offer?

Our team is always hard at work updating our fleet to the latest cars on the market. When you book a car with us our team will confirm the make and model of your current car and will strive to provide you with a like-for-like or a similar car of the same standard as yours.
